Based on Kaurna Land / Adelaide SA, Ink And Ruby Studios is the work of contemporary artist Ella Simpson. ​
A largely self-taught artist, Ella is drawn instinctively to colour and form. Her murals are characterised by bold, organic shapes, clean lines and a contemporary aesthetic. Her works seek to capture the uniqueness of each location and reflect its local identity through thoughtful, site-responsive design.

Her projects often involve community collaboration, ensuring that each mural resonates with its audience and celebrates the stories, values, and culture of the area. More recently, Ella has been collaborating with learning disabled and neurodivergent artists to create bespoke murals in the public realm.​​​
